On June 9–13, 2025, Concepcion Vocational School (CVS) took part in the week-long Brigada Eskwela of Concepcion West Elementary School, anchored on the theme “Brigada Eskwela: Sama-sama para sa Bayang Bumabasa.” This nationwide initiative by the Department of Education aims to prepare schools for the opening of classes through volunteerism, partnership, and community spirit.
The CVS delegation, composed of faculty members, staff, and personnel, actively contributed to the various activities, including classroom and campus cleaning, minor repairs, repainting, decluttering learning spaces, and organizing reading corners. They also assisted in arranging school furniture, repairing fixtures, and beautifying the school surroundings to provide a safe, child-friendly, and welcoming environment for learners.
The participation of CVS goes beyond physical work—it reflects the institution’s advocacy for quality education and literacy. By joining hands with teachers, parents, students, and community volunteers, CVS helped promote the importance of reading as a foundation for lifelong learning. The effort also strengthened the school’s partnership with the local community, highlighting the value of bayanihan in building a generation that values knowledge and education.
Through this engagement, Concepcion Vocational School once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility, extending its mission of service not only within its own campus but also to other educational institutions in the municipality.
